Membership

Renew, or finish paying.

One form does both. You do not need to sign in: confirm two settings, give the email address your membership is under, and the member system takes you the rest of the way.

  • No sign-in needed
  • 2 settings and an email address
  • Also finishes an unpaid signup

Look up your account.

Before renewing (existing members) or finishing your payment (new members), we need to look up a record of your account and confirm your opt-in status. If you are registering as a new member, or you came here from a renewal link, your email address is already filled in below.

Subscribe to ICPA emails?Required

The daily ICPA emails are the benefit most members use every day, so this is the setting worth reading twice. It does not affect renewal notices or receipts.

Choose whether to receive ICPA emails.

Display in the ICPA member directory?Required

The directory is how members find each other by company, specialty and region. Choosing not to appear does not affect anything else about your membership.

Choose whether to appear in the member directory.

Use the address your membership is under. For most members that is a work address, and it may not be the one you are reading this on.

Enter the email address your membership is under.

What happens after you submit

The lookup answers on this page, just below the form. The payment itself runs on the member system, which is why that screen looks different from this one.

  1. Your address is checked against the membership records. Nothing is charged and nothing is changed at this point.
  2. If it matches, a button appears under the form saying Click to Continue the Renewal Process. That button is the renewal, so do not close the page before you reach it.
  3. Confirm your details and pay. Dues are annual and quoted in US dollars, and the amount is the one for the membership type you already hold.
  4. Your renewal takes effect on payment, and the daily emails carry on uninterrupted.

If the address is not recognised

Almost always this is the address rather than the membership. Memberships are usually held under a work address that people stop using long before they stop being members, and an address that has changed employers will not match.

Do not sign up again as a new member to get around it. That creates a second record, and the first one keeps expiring.

What your renewal keeps.

The daily emails, the answer database, the member directory, member rates on conferences and webinars, and the members only trackers and source library. Dues run from $50 a year for academic, senior and military members up to the service provider levels.
