Individual Member A trade compliance professional who works for a company that imports/exports goods.

Service Provider Someone who works as a consultant, attorney, customs broker, freight forwarder, trade software provider, offers training services, etc. providing services to importers and exporters.

Choose your individual member level:(Required)

New Member '1st Year Only' Special - $0 - Join for your 1st year FREE if you meet the criteria below.

Individual - $125 - Current or previous employment as a compliance professional by a business and/or corporation engaged in international trade as an importer or exporter. Employees of service providers (Customs Brokers, FF’s, Law Firms, Consultants, etc.) are NOT eligible for this membership type.

Military Veteran - $50 - Those individuals who have served in the Military. Employees of service providers (Customs Brokers, FF’s, Law Firms, Consultants, etc.) are NOT eligible for this membership type.

Senior/Retired - $50 - Those individuals 65 or older (or who have retired) who just want to keep up with the world of international trade.

Student - $25 - Available to students currently enrolled in high school or an undergraduate college, university, community college, technical school, or other qualifying post-secondary program. This membership is intended to help students explore international trade compliance, build their professional network, and stay connected to ICPA as they prepare to enter the profession.

Educator - $50 - Available to professors, teachers, instructors, faculty members, and other educators who teach or support education related to international trade, trade compliance, supply chain, logistics, customs, import/export, international business, or related fields at a high school, college, university, technical school, or other educational institution.

Government - $125 - Available to individuals employed by federal, state, provincial, local, or other government agencies whose work relates to international trade, customs, import/export, trade compliance, supply chain, logistics, economic development, or related areas. This is a non-voting membership and does not include Board eligibility.

International Organization - Cost: TBD - Person employed by or a member of a non-governmental international organization.

Choose your service provider member level:(Required)

Global Partner - Service Provider (Associate Business) - $3000 - Available to a business and/or corporation categorized as a service provider as defined in ICPA's bylaws. This level includes enhanced benefits over the $1250 Service Provider (Associate Business) Level.

Service Provider (Associate Business) - $1250 - Available to a business and/or corporation categorized as a service provider as defined in ICPA's bylaws.

Individual Business Membership (Other than North America) - $250 - This level includes, consultants, attorneys, brokers, freight forwarders, etc. as individuals who are domiciled outside of North America.

Associate (Sole Practitioner) - $250 - Current or previous employment by a service provider, as defined in ICPA's bylaws.

Confirm membership criteria for New Member Special level(Required)

I am a 'NEW' Member. (NOT an active member for at least 2 years.)

AND I am eligible for this rate as a Regular Member, I do NOT work for a Service Provider and I have reviewed the bylaws to confirm I am eligible to join as an Individual member.

AND I confirm that I have read and agree to the ICPA Terms of Service.

AND only importers and exporters are eligible for the free membership. If you work for a broker, law firm, trade software company, freight forwarder, consultant, etc. you are NOT eligible for this rate.

Confirm membership criteria for Individual level(Required)

I certify I have been working for an importer or exporter NOT a service provider (Customs Brokers, FF's, Law Firms, Consultants, etc.) Employees of service providers are not eligible for this membership level.

Confirm membership criteria for Military Veteran level(Required)

I am veteran of the armed services and will send proof upon request.

AND I would otherwise be eligible at the regular Individual ICPA Membership rate of $125 (See definitions above).

AND I do not work for a service provider (Associate Business Level) as defined by ICPA (See definition above) and that I have read and agree to the ICPA Terms of Service

I certify I am 65 or older (or have retired) and I just want to keep up with the world of international trade.

AND I certify I do NOT CURRENTLY work for a service provider (Customs Brokers, FF's, Law Firms, Consultants, etc.) Employees of service providers are not eligible for this membership level.

International Organization Member

Founders Award

Each year, the ICPA proudly presents the esteemed Founder's Award to the regular member who successfully recruits the highest number of new members. Recipients of this award are granted full admission, along with covered airfare and hotel expenses, for the following year's Annual Conference.
