C-TPAT

Does anyone have a C-TPAT assessment check list that they may have used and would be willing to share for a C-TPAT site assessment?

Please help clarify an internal discussion (re: argument) we are having. Once a company identifies their Supply Chain Partner as C-TPAT certified or validated, (for example a freight forwarder, 3PL, non-asset-based partner) it is not necessary to obtain certifications from the transportation providers that company utilizes. I would like to know if anyone is Tier III for C-TPAT.

Most of the C-TPAT security criteria issued by CBP to date relates to containerized shipments. Does anyone have any written best practices or other suggested security procedures for bulk products, such as agricultural products? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Has anyone assisted a related-party Mexican manufacturer in obtaining C-TPAT certification? If so, was the process different than obtaining certification for the U.S. importer? Any pointers ?

Our company has a very extensive screening/background check on new employees however, we do not have policy for existing employees for ongoing background checks as stipulated in the C-TPAT criteria. Does anyone in ICPA have a resource for purchasing posters relating to C-TPAT topics.

We have been told by our C-TPAT specialist that we will not be validated as we do not import at least 10% from a country, other than China. Has anyone else faced this issue with the C-TPAT program?
