We import from six to eight shipments per year of the same product from the Netherlands by air, and are concerned about priority in resuming activity in the event of a nationwide airport lockdown. CTPAT for air shipments? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
I would appreciate any “pointers” the membership could share regarding preparation for C-TPAT validation…….approx. how long does the validation process usually take? How many CBP representatives are usually present during the validation process? Also, does anyone have written procedures for vendor selection that they would be willing to share?
