I’m looking to find out if there is an industry standard on import Customs clearance cycle time. Can you all please advise as to what your standard and desired Customs clearance cycle times are from the importer’s perspective? For instance, do you work towards having shipments cleared and delivered within 48 hours?
Do you exclude informal entries when doing your US import audits? Seems like Customs excludes them but I can’t find anything in their FA package that states that. Can anyone show me that information in writing or a publication from CBP?
We were informed by our Customs Broker that a shipment was delivered to our warehouse in January was not cleared through Customs.
