Mr. O’Toole will review pertinent recent enforcement actions to determine what sorts of conduct U.S. regulators are focused on and how compliance officials can learn to identify and mitigate similar risks. The main points of emphasis will be:

  • Recognizing potential unauthorized exports of defense services
  • Understanding the risks arising from inaccurate DDTC submissions
  • Understanding the dangers of seemingly innocuous license provisions
