Developing a Trade Compliance Program
This comprehensive course provides a cohesive and in-depth understanding of the process of conducting risk assessments and developing effective compliance programs for import and export activities. It covers a wide range of essential topics, beginning with identifying key stakeholders, conducting interviews, and reviewing policies and procedures.
Building upon this foundation, the course then explores import compliance, focusing on critical aspects such as classification, valuation, and documentation. Moving on to export compliance, learners will gain insights into jurisdiction, export licenses, denied parties screening, and export declarations.

How long is the course?
This course will run for 4 weeks. The plan for each week is as follows:
- Participants are responsible for viewing a short video (45-90 minutes) prior to the day of the webinar of that week.
- On Friday, participants will attend a 2-hour live webinar with the instructor to discuss the video (Step 1) and for Q&A.
- The participant will take the exam on the topics discussed.
- Steps 1-3 will be repeated for three more weeks (for a total of four weeks).
